Fines Elected to Global E3
Jane Fines, the Clark School's director of undergraduate recruitment and special programs, has been elected to the executive committee of the Global Engineering Education Exchange (Global E3).
Global E3 is an international exchange program for engineering students at member institutions. The program offers the opportunity for American students to study in one of 17 countries overseas (including France, Germany, Sweden and Finland), and for international students at partner campuses to study in the United States.
"Our goal is to graduate at least 25 percent of our undergraduate students with an international experience," Fines said. "The Global E3 program provides opportunities for our students to choose from a variety of locations around the world in which to study engineering."
Other universities that participate in the program include the University of Stuttgart in Germany and the Helsinki University of Technology in Finland.
Former Clark School associate deans Marilyn Berman Pollans and Tom Regan held this position in the past. Fines' term begins in the fall.
