Among the winners are two aerospace engineering students (out of 30 in the nation) who won the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics Undergraduate Scholarship—senior Rebecca Besser and junior Dean Bawek. Senior Ashley Korzun won this scholarship in 2004.
Three Clark School students also won Gates Millennium Scholarships—junior civil engineering major Jazalyn Dukes, graduate student in electrical engineering (EE) Hungquoc Lai and senior mechanical engineering (ME) major Mai Phuong Le.
Jennifer Thompson, a senior in ME, won a Hollings Undergraduate Scholarship from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
Deborah Sweet, a senior in chemical engineering, won a National Science Foundation stipend and tuition prize.
