Workshop: Graduate School and NSF GRFP Personal Statement (Day 2)

The University of Maryland Fischell Department of Bioengineering will host a virtual graduate student research workshop, "Recognizing Excellence in Bioengineering Academic Research," January 14–15, 2025, from 1:00–5:00 p.m. ET.
The purpose of this workshop is to provide guidance to graduate students interested in biomedical as they prepare to transition into post-doctoral positions and eventually into academia. This workshop will feature faculty career path talks; how-to workshops on finding, interviewing for, and getting funding for a post-doc; and individual mentoring sessions with UMD faculty.
Those interested in applying to participate should have completed 3+ years of doctoral training in biomedical engineering, bioengineering, or a closely related field.
The deadline to apply is November 15, 2024. Decisions will be sent by December 1, 2024.
