What motivated you to become a ClarkLEADER?
I wanted to share my experience as a student in the Clark School of Engineering to incoming freshmen to motivate and encourage them to stay strong and open-minded throughout their college journeys!

What are some organizations or extracurricular activities you think new students should know about?
Black Engineering Society, Center For Minorities In Science and Engineering (CMSE)

If you attended ClarkLEAD as a first-year student, what did you enjoy most about the event?
I appreciated the effort that went into encouraging incoming students to have an open mind and emphasizing the importance of diversity and inclusion.

What is one piece of advice you would like to share with new Maryland Engineering students?
Never forget that you’re still figuring things out and that there is no rush to have your entire life figured out. Always take things step by step! Also, start assignments early!
