Annabelle Diep
She/Her
Class of 2027
Major: Computer Engineering
Hometown: Clarksburg, MD
What motivated you to become a ClarkLEADER?
I love the engineering program so far and have already learned so much. I wanted the opportunity to spread my knowledge and experience with a new group of students, as well as welcome them to the school and university.
What are some organizations or extracurricular activities you think new students should know about?
I am part of the Flexus Living and Learning Program and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). I also play club volleyball!
If you attended ClarkLEAD as a first-year student, what did you enjoy most about the event?
I enjoyed meeting other freshmen engineering students at the beginning of the year. It was a great way to have some familiar faces in class and around campus!
What is one piece of advice you would like to share with new Maryland Engineering students?
One piece of advice I would like to share is to talk to the people in your classes! Engineering is hard enough, but having friends and forming study groups will make it more manageable and fun!
