I am a faculty member in the Keystone program, where I have been teaching since I finished my Ph.D. on Automated Simulation and the Discovery of Mechanical Devices from the University of Maryland, College Park, advised by Dr. Mark Fuge. Along with my background in mechanical engineering (Carnegie Mellon University, B.S./M.S.), my dissertation laid the foundation for my research on machine learning applied to mechanical design, specifically on how computers can autonomously design products.

I am dedicated to enhancing student experiences by giving them greater autonomy through project-based learning and facilitating open communication via regular feedback sessions and discussion forums. My goal is to create an inclusive learning environment where students feel empowered to take ownership of their education, leading to improved engagement and academic success.

In my free time, I like to play badminton and cook.
