UMD Supported Web Tool Could Help Improve D.C. Commutes
D.C.-area commuters now have access to some of the same transit network information as transportation planners thanks to a new District Department of Transportation website. Developed in part using congestion and mobility data from the Center for Advanced Transportation Technology Lab, the maps on districtmobility.org could also help officials better manage a system that serves roughly a million drivers, bikers, walkers, and users of public transit each day.
