You can choose whether replies to emails are grouped in conversations, or if each email shows up in your inbox separately on the Gmail app from your Android, iPhone or iPad.
- Open the Gmail app on your mobile device.
- From the top left, tap the Menu.
- Scroll down and tap Settings.
- Select your UMD account address.
- Next to Conversational view, uncheck the box to turn off conversation view.
- Tap Got It to confirm your settings.
- The settings will update and Gmail will restart. Conversation view will be turned off.
