Cisco IP Phones allow you to easily connect with colleagues and record and receive voicemail. You can configure your voicemail settings via the Cisco Voicemail Assistant, or you can utilize keypad shortcuts.

Main menu and shortcuts (Standard conversation)
While listening to the Main menu, press:

Send a message menu and shortcuts (Standard conversation)
To send a voice mail message without calling a person, Press 2 at the Main Menu.
If you search for a user by name, you will use the phone keypad to find the intended recipient(s). Starting with the last name, you would type the keypad number once for the corresponding letter.
For example, to search for John Smith, you would press the following keys:
- Press 7 once for S
- Press 6 once for M
- Press 4 once for I
- Press 8 once for T
- Press 4 once for H
When finished, press the pound (#) key.
If you know the person's extension, hit 5 5 to search by extension and enter the person's five-digit extension followed by the pound sign (#).
