Data Warehouse and Reporting

Data Warehouse and Reporting banner logo

The Data Warehouse is a collection of integrated institutional data. It can be accessed by authorized people in two ways: Pre-Built Reports and Ad Hoc Access.

Pre-built reports are written by data managers and other campus analysts to answer business questions, and are delivered through various reporting systems. Some pre-built reports are open to the campus, while others are only visible to authorized users. Based on the features of each reporting platform, some pre-built reports are interactive and allow customers to filter the report to their area of interest.

Ad hoc access allows customers to write their own queries from scratch. Customers will need to understand relational database design and be able to write queries in SQL or using a visual query building tool such as SAS Enterprise Guide.
