Who is allowed to purchase software from DIT Software Licensing?

• Faculty and Staff at the University of Maryland College Park are allowed to purchase all products offered by Software Licensing.
• Campuses other than College Park are not eligible to purchase a small number of products including IDL/ENVI and any Microsoft products under the Microsoft Enterprise Agreement.
• Students have access to a limited selection of products including Office, Windows, and the Creative Cloud. Students may buy SPSS through the Terrapin Technology Store.

What if I can't find software on TERPware?

If you would like Software Licensing to look into acquiring a specific product, email us a request at software-licensing@umd.edu. Tell us what it does and how many people are interested in obtaining it.
