Zoom Web Conferencing (Video/Audio)
Zoom is a web and video-conferencing system that enables UMD faculty, staff, and students to host, participate, and record meetings and webinars. Meetings can be recorded, stored to the Zoom cloud and shared with students within an ELMS-Canvas course space via the Zoom link in the navigation.
UMD offers three different options to meet the campus community needs.

Zoom Meeting | up to 300 participants | Licensed to all. | Login at https://umd.zoom.com. |
Zoom Large Meeting | up to 1000 participants | Faculty/Staff only. Limited number of user-specific licenses. |
itsupport.umd.edu. It takes up to 24 hours to complete. |
Zoom Webinar | up to 1000 view-only attendees | Faculty/Staff/Students. Very limited number of licenses assigned to an individual for a specific date/time. |
Webinar License Request. It takes up to 24 hours to complete. |
