UMD Adobe Creative Cloud (ACC) License Provisioning Guidelines
This document outlines eligibility criteria, acceptable usage scenarios, and access terms for the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, which the University of Maryland provides to its community members.
Eligibility and Access
- Current Students, sponsored study abroad Students, Faculty, Staff, Trainees, Emeriti, and Affiliates, excluding retiree Affiliates.
- Full access is extended to university-owned and personal devices, permitting concurrent usage on a maximum of two devices. Access is provisioned through an organizational account utilizing UMD credentials.
Acceptable Use Cases
- Usage is permissible for academic, research, and administrative purposes and must adhere to the University of Maryland Policy on the Acceptable Use of Information Technology Resources.
Transfer of Assets to a non-UMD account
- Individuals are responsible for ensuring that any personal or academic work stored in Adobe's Creative Cloud is transferred or saved elsewhere before account deactivation.
- Students can utilize Adobe's Asset Migration portal and may opt to purchase a Personal Creative Cloud Subscription after graduation.
