Terrapin Trader | Terrapin Trader is the University's on-going surplus operation. Terrapin Trader Property Release documentation are used to identify items deemed surplus by the owning department. Computers, printers, desks, chairs, and tables are among the kinds of inventory processed by the Terrapin Trader. Pick up of surplused equipment is made free of charge to University departments. Terrapin Trader determines the price of property sold through its showroom (sometimes in consultation with department personnel). Sales are made on a "first come" basis and items are sold "as is" with no warranties or guarantees. |

The Lazarus Foundation | The Lazarus Foundation is a Columbia, Maryland nonprofit, charitable organization, ruled tax-exempt by the Internal Revenue Service under I.R.C. 501(c)(3). They accept tax-deductible donations of your surplus computer equipment. Volunteers test and restore them to working condition and install donated software. |
