I am getting a Bad Request. Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Size of a request header field exceeds server limit. or a Request Entity Too Large error message when I try to access UMD sites, like testudo.umd.edu, timesheets.umd.edu, and other umd.edu subdomains.

Clear the browser cookies associated with umd.edu.

Google Chrome

To clear the cookies associated with umd.edu in Google Chrome, please do the following:

1. Open Google Chrome.
2. At the top right, click the three vertical dots . A menu will display.
3. Select Settings. The Settings page will display.
4. Select Privacy and security in the sidebar.
5. Select Third-party cookies. NOTE: If you are part of the Tracking Protection test group, select Tracking Protection instead.
6. Select See all site data and permissions.
7. At the top right, search for umd.edu.
8. To the right of the site, select the trashcan . A confirmation message will appear.
9. Select Delete.
