Issue
The phone (or other mobile device) you use with Duo Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is lost, stolen, broken, malfunctioning, or not accessible to authenticate and you do not have pre-generated bypass codes or backup device set up.

Resolution
If you do not have access to your phone and need a bypass code to authenticate, you must call the Service Desk at 301.405.1500 or visit Terrapin Tech in person. You can not get bypass codes through Live Chat or self-service.
We recommend keep up-to-date Bypass Codes for Multi-Factor Authentication available and consider if a Add a Multi-Factor Authentication Method or Device is an option for you.
