What do I have to do to use Healix Travel Oracle?
There are no special actions or steps for travelers to take in order to obtain these services from UMD.
Book your trip in Concur, with CTP, or directly with a linked airline affinity ID, and the airline will provide travelers with access to Healix.
How does Healix Travel Oracle know where I am?
Healix Travel Oracle is connected to Concur. All trip data in Concur is shared with Healix. Healix will know when you are in-flight or at your destination. If you opt-in for GPS location tracking (optional) then the app will track the location of your mobile device and send you incident alerts based on your real-time location.
What is the level of security and protection of my information and data?
- Everything that travelers store in the app can be secured by a PIN.
- All information uploaded to the app is encrypted and stored locally on their device.
Do I have to download the app?
You are not required to download the app.

I downloaded the app. What now?
No actions are necessary, but in order to get the most out of the app, review the features and opt to turn on GPS tracking for enhanced notification of incidents based on your location.
Can I use the app to summon assistance if I’m in an emergency situation?
- No, Healix Travel Oracle is not a replacement for 911 or emergency services.
- In case of an emergency, always contact local emergency services directly (remember that other countries have their own number to contact in case of emergency).
- The app cannot coordinate real-time rescue or evacuation services and does not guarantee an immediate response to alerts or messages. You may experience delays depending on the situation and connectivity.
Do I have to accept the location agreement that popped up on my phone? What happens if I do/don’t?
- If you want to receive incident notifications based on your exact location, you need to accept the agreement to enable GPS location tracking.
- Accepting the agreement is not mandatory.
- If you choose not to accept, you will get notifications based on your trip itinerary's destination rather than your real-time location.
Is the app available in any other languages?
- English is the default language of the Travel Oracle app.
- Translation to your language of choice is available.
- If you prefer to use the app in a language other than English, go to your phone’s settings, select “General,” select “Language & Region” and select the desired choice, then navigate back to Healix Travel Oracle and it should prompt you to TRANSLATE to your preferred language.
- This may take a few minutes to sync. Once complete, the app will be available in your preferred language.
