Earlier this month, OM&U rolled out a new customer service program developed to help keep FM’s campus customers informed about maintenance work performed in their workspaces.
The new door hanger program equips front-line maintenance staff with custom-designed door hangers to be left on doors wherever maintenance work has been conducted and the customer is not present (In spaces without doors, the hangers are left on a desk, table, etc.). The door hangers provide relevant information about the work done in the area and can be used as a reference if customers have questions or concerns about maintenance.
This new program was developed based on feedback received from FM’s customers and is part of FM’s new customer service strategy, which includes enhancements to our education and training programs, communication, and processes and procedures.
